Battle Royale Ranked Rank Reset

We have identified and resolved the issue which caused some players to have their Battle Royale rank reset at the start of Season 4. Additionally, we have added the missing Rank Points to affected players where their current progression was still below the appropriate rank. Players who had already progressed back to or beyond the rank they should have started at did not receive additional Rank Points.

The correction will be applied the next time affected players log in.

BROD 3 and EF88 Headshot Multipliers

Separately, we have rolled out a correction for the BROD 3 and EF88, which were using the previous 1.34x base headshot multiplier. Both weapons and their ammo attachments now use the intended 1.4x base headshot multiplier in gameplay. The UI may continue to display 1.34x for the time being.

We’re tracking reports of the following issues:

• Pings may not appear properly, primarily when players are using vehicles or drones.
• Player tank loadouts may not equip properly in certain modes, including Gauntlet’s Rodeo mode.

We’re investigating an issue on PC where some players may experience a GPU driver crash when playing on maps with large bodies of water, including Tsuru Reef.

Based on our current data, the issue appears to affect NVIDIA GPUs, with reports more concentrated among players using GeForce RTX 50 Series cards. The issue does not appear to affect all players using these GPUs.

While we continue working with NVIDIA to identify a resolution, players experiencing repeated driver crashes are advised to temporarily roll back to NVIDIA driver version 596.49.

If crashes continue after rolling back, please share your GPU model, driver version, affected map, and any available crash report details in our Technical Issues page on our EA Forums, to help us narrow down the cause.

We’ll provide another update as soon as we have more information.

Season 4: Pacific Front begins today, bringing naval combat to Battlefield 6 alongside new content, water gameplay improvements, Portal updates, UI and HUD polish, audio updates, and further fixes across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.

Starting at 12:00 UTC, players can jump into the full Season 4 content drop, including new amphibious warfare experiences, new vehicles, weapons, attachments, and more.

Tsuru Reef, the 16th map in Battlefield 6 and the leading locale for Season 4’s launch, joins a universe of over 100 maps in the franchise’s 24-year history.
